Dont know who she is? Click Here to find out
Taiwanese politician Chu Mei-feng became famous in December 2001 when a video of her having sex with a married man was distributed on CD by Taiwan's Scoop magazine. Chu was a Taipei city councillor and former TV journalist, and the release of the video created a storm of publicity in Asia and around the world.
Investigators found that a friend of Chu's, Kuo Yu-ling, had installed a hidden camera in Chu's bedroom and sold the resulting video to Scoop. The video depicts Chu having sex with her husband for almost 60 minutes!
CHU MEI-FENG BIOGRAPHY
Chu Mei-feng is the former director of the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Hsinchu City and a leading young light of the opposition People First Party (PFP). From this somewhat modest political background she has become a household name in Taiwan, and in the rest of Asia is possibly now more famous than Taiwan's President Chen Shui-bian himself. Unfortunately her new-found fame owes nothing to her political acumen.
Scoop Weekly is a sensationalist tabloid fighting for its life against the deep pockets of Hong Kong magnate Jimmy Lai and his Next magazine. In late December it lived up to its name by obtaining - from sources that are still cloudy - a videotape of the 36-year-old Chu having sex with her lover. Most magazines would have published the story and a few titillating grabs from the tape. But desperate times call for desperate measures. Scoop gave away free with its magazine a 40-minute-long video compact disk (VCD) showing Chu's entire sex act with Tseng Chung-ming, a married businessman, from removing her trousers to the after-shower hair-drying.
